Our purpose-built club was opened in 1986 and comprises a bowls hall with six rinks, with a comfortable controlled temperature environment in which to enjoy the sport all year round. Spectator seating overlooks the playing area.

Players at all levels are welcome and bowls is suitable for all abilities. Beginners are encouraged to come along and give bowls a try. Free taster sessions are offered regularly All equipment is provided free of charge.

Free coaching/skills improvement sessions are also available by arrangement with qualified coaches.

People with a disability can compete equally against other disabled bowlers or non-disabled bowlers. All areas within the Club are easily accessible by wheelchair and in addition the Club owns a number of specially designed wheelchairs that protect the carpet. Several other aids are also available to allow players with a variety of disabilities to participate in the sport; the Club has sticks and bowl lifters, which can be borrowed.
