Matches, Leagues and Competitions
Club Matches
The Royals participate in a variety of match fixtures both friendly and competitive. There is a Kent Indoor Bowling League for both men and ladies against other indoor clubs across Kent. We also play friendly matches against other indoor clubs and associations and many of the local outdoor clubs.
A full fixture list is issued with your membership information each year. However due to changing circumstances this may be subject to change from the time of publication.
If you wish to be considered for any club matches further details can be found on the match noticeboard displayed in the entry hall at the Club together with any fixture changes.
National and County Competitions
The Club enter teams in a range of National and County competitions and individual members may enter National and County competitions.
Further information on selection for Club Competition Teams and entry to National and County competitions can be obtained form the Rink Usage Director.
Internal Leagues
The Club runs a range of league formats throughout the year for both new and experienced bowlers. Any member who is interested in playing in league games and who have not been approached by a team captain should make their interest known to the League Organiser.

Postponing League Matches – In the event you need to postpone a scheduled League game please complete the League Postponement Form and submit to the League Secretary.
Club Competitions
The club run internal competitions in both the Winter and Summer seasons in a number of formats. Members can enter either as a team or as individuals for singles and drawn competitions.
Entry forms will be advertised and available at the appropriate times for those wishing to enter these.
